In this group, we study digital transformation from a technological perspective and contributes to the use of digital technologies when it comes to cyber security, privacy and sustainability.

We focus on digital transformation of industries, organizations and institutions facilitated by digital technologies including how digital technologies can be used to increase environmental, economic and social sustainability. Our research work includes issues on privacy and ethics regarding uses of artificial intelligence for recommender systems, decision-making and automated processes. In addition, emphasis is on interactions between digital technologies and the purposes for which they are used.
