This research group focuses on experimental research to achieve “Dependable Wireless Communications”.

Current research activities include connectivity over 5G, WiFi, UWB, WAN-IOT, and NTN. Additionally, we investigate the pros and cons of computing in Edge Cloud or Cloud. Use cases are broad, from manufacturing,  BVLOS drone flights, farming, and health care to mission-critical communications. An essential contribution from the research is the great benefit of multi-connectivity at the transport layer to reach “Dependable Wireless Communications.”
