Self-Driving Laboratories (SDL)
Self-Driving Labs (SDLs) integrate machine learning, lab automation, and robotics to accelerate the discovery of new materials and molecules, addressing key challenges in energy, power2x technologies, sustainability, and healthcare. Our research also focuses on developing mobile manipulators for laboratory environments and incorporating reinforcement learning to plan and execute tasks across multi-robot systems that carry out complex syntheses. By combining these advanced technologies, SDLs enable faster and more efficient exploration and innovation in chemistry, material science, and power2x applications.
We are actively involved in the research and development of SDLs / Material Acceleration Platforms (MAPs) for power2x in the national CAPeX Pioneer Center.
